Muse Software, a unified operations platform for museums and cultural attractions, raised $4.5 million in seed funding to advance product development and expand its suite of operational tools. The round was led by Roo Capital with participation from Banter Capital and FJ Labs. The company aims to replace fragmented legacy systems with an integrated solution that spans ticketing, fundraising, CRM, retail/café, event management and integrated payments. Founder and CEO Travis Fuller said the funding will help the company build intuitive software that automates time‑consuming tasks such as donor acknowledgements, donor identification, waitlist management and accounting reconciliation, freeing staff to focus on mission‑critical work and audience engagement. Muse describes creating a usable data layer across museum operations to generate insights and actions. Roo Capital’s Nate DaPore said the firm will support Muse’s scaling efforts as it develops a modern, data‑driven platform for cultural institutions. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate feature delivery and deepen customer support to help institutions optimize revenue from admissions, memberships, donations and events.
