Understood Care, an AI-native patient advocacy platform, has raised $8.4 million in funding to accelerate the development of its AI co-pilot, Ava. The funding includes a $5 million seed round led by Rethink Education and Zeal Capital Partners, and $3.4 million in pre-seed funding led by 1984 Ventures.
