Seraya AQX Pte Ltd (AQX), a digital infrastructure investment platform owned by Seraya Partners, has agreed to acquire 100% of SPTel Pte Ltd from ST Engineering Urban Solutions Ltd. and Singapore Power Limited for SGD290 million (USD227 million). SPTel is a mission-critical fibre network operator in Singapore with cross-border connectivity to Malaysia and Indonesia. The acquisition aims to scale SPTel into a leading provider of fibre connectivity for the SG+ region, leveraging growth from AI and data centre demand.
